How to send empty/blank messages in WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram Chats

There is no reason to send blank or empty messages to anyone, but just to have fun with your friends or entertain your ex-partner by looking at hundreds or thousands of empty messages, you can. By default, no instant management app like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram allows you to send blank messages. If you think you can do it using the space key on your phone’s Android keyboard, then go ahead and try it because at least it doesn’t work on my Android phone.

There are numerous tricks available online that provide a tutorial on how to send empty messages to anyone on WhatsApp or any other instant message like Facebook. But here we are going to discuss one of the easiest available methods: one is with the help of an app and one is without the app.

Now, on what occasions can you send the empty messages or blank messages to someone on WhatsApp?

Send blank text messages on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger, both methods given below work on Android phone, but on iPhone (WhatsApp) only the second one.

First method with an app:

1. Go to the android google play store.
   
2. Find the Empty Messages or Blank Message app “Blank Messages” developed by IFGIOVANNI.
   
3. Once the app is installed, open it.
   
4. Once in the empty messages app, simply touch the green button and select Whatsapp to send blank messages.
   

Second Method without the app:

However, if we search the Internet for the transparent unicode character, we will be sending a character that WhatsApp, being compatible with this Unicode language -the same one used by emojis- will allow us to send that “blank” message.

We can directly search the Internet or open the web page «unicode.flopp.net» or the page of the Unicode character U+2800, by clicking «here». There, by pressing the “copy” button, we will be copying that “invisible message” that we can paste into any WhatsApp message. This is valid for both the WhatsApp app and WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp desktop.

These “invisible” messages are actually “transparent” content that we can send to our family and friends as well as to any other WhatsApp user. If you have ever tried to send a blank message, you will have seen that you could not, because WhatsApp requires that the message be made up of at least one letter, symbol, number or emoji.
