If you have a video that’s longer than 30 seconds, we recommend using this trick to upload it to your WhatsApp status.

Regarding the states, if you try to share a long video (for example 2 minutes), you will see that WhatsApp only publishes 30 seconds which you must choose. The rest doesn’t get to go uploaded.

Fortunately, there is a method to do it but it’s only compatible with phones that work with Android operating systems, so if you have an iPhone you will not be able to use this trick.

Steps to follow:

1. Enter the Play Store and search the application “Video status and downloader” developed by Royal Princess Makeover.

2. When you run it, you will see that it asks you for some permissions. You have to provide them for it to work properly.

3. The interface is simple, as it only shows four options. You will have to choose the first called Status uploader.

4. After selecting your video, WhatsApp will load it as a status and show it to you in its entirety, but divided into several parts.

So if you have a video that lasts 2 minutes, what the application will do, is automatically divide them and show them in four different states (each of 30 seconds) which will be followed up one after the other.
