In the 24 hour states in WhatsApp there is no possibility to save (download) the image or video upload of your friend or relative, to make this function available, there is an application called “Save Status for WhatsApp”.

The steps to follow are very easy:

  1. Go to the Google Play Store, search the app “Status Saver For Whatsapp” developed by FlyDeveloper.
  2. Once installed, when opening it, allow the necessary permissions for the correct operation.
  3. Now on the main screen of the app, the images and videos of the states of your WhatsApp appear (you must first see the states in Wasap in order to appear in this app), you can save both images and videos to your phone.

Note:

You can see the Wasap states in hidden mode by turning off the “Read Confirmations” from WhatsApp Settings -> Account -> Privacy and turn off Reading Confirmations, the other person will not know you have seen their 24 hour status.
